Without further ado, here comes the 43rd release of ConCave. We couldn't come up with a clever reference that includes the number , except to say that concave now goes up to 43! And that's no puppet show.

Room Parties: Room Parties: The only thing more awesome than the room parties are the hosts that put the effort into throwing them. Please contact Joni at [email protected] early so we can get you a primo spot and stuff. We can help coordinate cost savings such as splitting room cost across the two nights between two different parties using the same room. And we are pleased to announce the return of the “Party Fairy” leaving cash subsidies under the pillows of hard working party hosts.

Art Show : ConCave boasts a really awesome Sci-Fi/Fandom based art show and auction. A number of artists of differing styles and media participate. The vast majority of items are for sale. If you would like to participate as a vendor, please get a copy of the Concave Art Show rules, bid sheets, control sheets, hanging fees, and shipping information. contact: Curt and Kim Payne at [email protected]
Costume Contest: More info coming soon. ConCave is a great place to strut your cosplay nerdery whether entering contest or not.
Vendors: Concave provides vendor facilities unlike most other conventions. Our venue features a large open atrium room where most of the convention activities and traffic is concentrated which we call Concave Village. Vendor rooms are fully furnished hotel rooms facing the Concave Village area and include up to three 8 foot tables for a fee of ($40/table) plus Concave membership fees as presented below. Vendors are responsible for covering hotel room charges as detailed in the hotel info section below, including furniture moving charges if required. There are a limited number of single vendor tables available in a shared vendor area for a cost of ($40) per table. There are also still a couple of rooms available at hotel room cost in the vendor hall. $40 vendor fee, one table per vendor provided. For questions contact Kelly at: [email protected]

South Bluff Forge. We (Kevin and Randy)are south Bluff Forge located in Bowling Green KY. We specialize in custom hand forged and stock removal knives. Hunters, skinners, camp knives, everyday carry and kitchen chef knives etc. We use high carbon steel for a super sharp long lasting knife. Our blacksmith (Kevin) has been forging for five years. We will have knives for sale and also a raffle to support ConCave.
The Picklepot. Original Steampunk and Sterling Silver Jewelry, with a smattering of sandblasted glassware.
Jennifer "Jeff" Ingalls has been a welcome addition to ConCave since 2018. A veteran jewelry maker with 30 years experience, she always brings a beautiful array of handcrafted jewelry and more. Check her out in advance at picklepot.com!
Castle Perilous https://castleperilousgames.com/ Castle Perilous Games and Books opened in 1990 and is located in downtown Carbondale Illinois. We are one of the oldest tabletop game and comic stores in the country. Currently, we stock over 500 different roleplaying, board and miniatures games and an equal number of comics in about 6000 square feet of space.
Betsy's Books & More: Stop by Betsy's Books to the left of the main desk, across from some music by somebody else from time to time! She will feature Science Fiction and Fantasy books (used or new-ish) for sale at a discount, some other interesting Misc. (fun) items, toys, and more. Let her know if she can take your photo to remember you by. She will save some new-to-you items for each day. Set up begins after lunchtime on Friday. Hours may vary.
